Steps Required to Notarize to Legal Document

1.  In the state of Florida, a notary public must always require the signer to physically present at the time of the notarial act.

2.  Visually scan the document to make sure it doesn't contain blank spaces or incomplete information and contains a pre-printed notarial certificate.  Also, notaries who maintain notary journal should scan the document to collect and record document date, title, number of pages, and the number of signers.

3.  Verify the identity of the signer- Each state has different rules about the types of identifications that may be accepted, and you should consult your state's authorities for a list of acceptable forms of identification.  Most times it should be government-issued and contain the photographer of the signer.

4.  Almost all states allow a notary to verify the identity of a signer who they have known for a considerable length of time.

How to build your Mobile Notary Business?

1.  Building a website

Add content  and photos that your  audience will be searching for.  Make sure to keep your contact information up-to-date,  list all the services offer, and add  your different payment methods as well.

2.  Maintaining a blog

An important strategy is to start a blog.  It keeps your website  active  and makes it easier for your  audience to find your website.

3.  Maintain a social media presence

Add your business on different social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Craigslist, YouTube, TikTok, etc.

4.  Online presence

Having an online presence is very important to grow your business.  Make sure you have active accounts with Google my business, Yelp Biz, Yellow Pages, Bing my business, 411 Info, etc.
